New Solar Farm Powers 30% of City

GalamaCity has completed its new 50MW solar farm on the southern outskirts. The $40 million project features 120,000 solar panels and will provide clean energy for approximately 15,000 homes.

"This is a major step toward our goal of carbon neutrality by 2030," said Mayor Johansson at the opening ceremony. The farm also includes a visitor center with educational exhibits about renewable energy.

Galama International School has been awarded the prestigious European Green School of the Year for its innovative sustainability programs. The school's features include:
